haha i couldn't help rereading the last chapter of HP again!
i really really loved it.
the middle part of the book got abit boring sometimes, during the hunt for the horcruxes, when alot of the things that occured were sort of trivial, as a way of letting the reader know what's going on or what actually happened in the previous books when such-and-such happened.
sort of like links i guess.
and it gets kind of repetitive and irritating when everywhere they go they keep getting surprise-attacked by voldemort or his minions. and of course they manage to escape everytime.
not without consequences though.
haha.
but the last chapter!
the final showdown was SUPERB!
it's one of those scenes that you can really imagine in your head, that actually gives u goosebumps when you read it.
and the great thing about JK Rowling is that the way she describes the scene and puts it all down in words makes it seem so real without compromising on the majesty and the drama of it all.
i'm really really looking forward to the 7th movie, and i just hope that regardless of how much they actually cut out from the actual story, they'll leave this part in its full entity :D
and most of my hunches about the last book were correct!
including the hog's head barman being Aberforth.
haha >:)
